About Us
Dr. Milam specializes in the space where brain, mind, and body meet, evaluating cognitive concerns such as changes in attention and memory, and providing specialized treatment for functional neurological and somatic conditions. These are areas where patients often struggle to find providers with specific training, and where the right care can make a meaningful difference.
Dr. Milam received her B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, her M.S. in Psychology from Old Dominion University, and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium. She completed her internship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Clinical Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. She is also a founding board member of the Institute for Cognitive Resilience, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
